Alchemy Quest is a free game. This means that the source code is available to be studied, modified, and distributed. Most projects look for help with testing, documentation, graphics, etc., as well. |
Alchemy Quest is an update to the OpenAlchemist game. It is a falling block puzzle game created in C++. An alternative set of graphics for an NES version of the game were posted on opengameart.[1] Dennis Payne replaced ClanLib with SDL and enabled using the new graphics. A two player mode was also added to the game. The game can still run using the original OpenAlchemist graphics. In this mode there is no two player option. OpenAlchemist was made as a clone of a web flash game called NaturalChimie.
