Vegan on a Desert Island is a free game. This means that the source code is available to be studied, modified, and distributed. Most projects look for help with testing, documentation, graphics, etc., as well. |
Vegan on a Desert Island (VOADI) names a top-down adventure game made with Solarus engine developed by an open source community led by Alex Gleason.[1] The game seeks to provide very ironic answer to the question "What might vegans do if stranded on a desert island?". In addition to parody, the project organizer expresses the intention to explore issues such as pollution, wild animal predation, and species discrimination.[2] They organize through a community on Matrix.[3]
So far the project has released only a brief demo.[4]
