The Retribution Engine is a 3D engine based on OpenGL and OpenAL originally built to create a game called Corridors of Power, and later turned into a general game creation system. The engine is released under the GPL, but does not currently have a game made with it using entirely libre data. It is also only currently available for Microsoft Windows. The project was started by Andrew Gardner in 1997 and open sourced in June 2007 while the latest release was v1.10.5 on December 2, 2008.
