Gameplay[edit]
The player controls a certain faction (Tech, Magic, Egypt, Indians, Norsemen, Persian or Romans) which all has a different set-up of units, buildings, machines and monsters. The player must gather resources (such as energy, food, gold, housing, stone and wood) using certain units and buildings, these resources is then spent on creating more units and buildings. Each faction have different types of units available and requires different resources. The goal of the game is to use your armies to defeat your enemies. The game takes place on a map of varying size, such as large plains and fields, with terrain features like rivers, mountains, seas, or cliffs. The players can make use of the terrain in order to get an advantage over their opponents.
