4D Maze Game is a game where the player navigates a 4 dimensional maze. The latest version was released in February 2008. The game has been developed by John McIntosh in the Java programming language. It has been released into the public domain, it is free software since the source code is available on the homepage.
Gameplay[edit]
The whole point of the game appears to be to fly around in a four-dimensional maze world.
The game is very configurable, including multiple settings related to:
- 3 or 4-dimensional space
- dimensionality of the generated maze itself
- probabilities of turns, twists, colours etc
- rendering and motion
- colours
- stereo view (e.g. cross-eyed)
- keyboard control
